I suck at blogging

Remember the job interview I mentioned in one of my previous video blogs? Well, I got the job muthafuckas! Which explains why I have not been posting anything on here for the past 10 days. I’ve been going up and down to the capital for briefings and tests and today was my 4th day at work. So yea, I’ve been busy.

How is it? Well, at the moment it is pretty boring as I don’t have a lot to do at work but I’m hoping they increase my workload soon. At least I got a television right in front of my desk that only gets the CNN channel so I am pretty aware of what’s going on in the world. Oooh, and Anderson Cooper!!

So I just wanted to let you guys know that I won’t be posting as often as I did here anymore because I need to get used to my new routine. I mean I will try my best so don’t stop visiting. Heh! Cuz’ just as soon as I finish work, I get so tired and sleep right after dinner. And the only time I got is between 4 to 6am which I use to view or make videos. After all, Youtube is a bigger priority to me than this blog.

Gawd! I realize my writing is getting really horrible but I just cannot be bothered putting much thought into it. Whatev!

I posted a reply but never got a respond. It kinda bugs me that I don’t know who wrote it. It’s funny though how blunt this person is. Used to be fat and in denial? Yes I was fat and no I wasn’t in denial, just forced in the back of the closet. I wonder who this could be.

It has been a while since I did my last video blog, a little over a month ago. Now it feels really weird to be talking to the camera again. And the amount of work that goes into making a video of myself kinda puts me off. The make-up, the lighting, the outfit, the content and presentation, all these are needed to appear your absolute best. And you need to know your most flattering angles in order to avoid looking bloated or chubby and this is the hardest thing to do especially now that I’ve put on a couple of extra kilos.

But the good news is, I now have 48 subscribers to my youtube channel which I think is amazing. That’s 48 people who find me interesting enough to watch me on a regular basis! Woot! Introducing my babies

Everyone and everything around me are having babies but not me. Why??! I’m a pretty promiscuous whore so I should actually already have 3 kids running around the house by now while pregnant with my fourth. This makes me depressed.

New additions to my animal family, wooo! 29th March 08 was the date 2 of my little baby kittens were born. Then the next day about 18 hours later, out came another one so that’s 3 altogether. Ohhh, they make me so happy.

We got 2 red tabby babies and one cream point kitty.

Then today, I was outside hanging my clothes to dry when I heard little chirping from the chicken pen and when I looked inside the nest, there they were, 3 fluffy baby chicks. A yellow one, a brown and also a black one.

How adorable are they? So adorable I want to season, deep fry and eat them whole. Oooohh, deep fried quail would be perfect right about now.

Baby animals just get me so excited!

White eyeliner is the secret

Here’s something I learned from the fabulous David Paris. To look bright-eyed and to open up your eyes a little more, after covering the dark circles under your eyes with your concealer and putting on light shimmery eyeshadow over your lids, use white liner pencil to line your waterline. Then as you normally would, apply black liner (kohl pencil works best for this, in my opinion) along your lower lash line from the outer corner of your eye halfway to the center. Then apply the white liner lightly over it, and blend it well for it to appear slightly more natural. Repeat with your upper lash line. Take into consideration the shape of your eye and the slant. Finish the look with volume mascara.

A suitable normal everyday look and perfect for the morning after a night of hard partying.
